Fright Night at the Embassy: Scary Fun for the Family
(September 2, 2015) – The Embassy Theatre will again be partnering with other downtown venues for the annual Fright Night event coordinated by the Downtown Improvement District on Oct. 17.
Fright Night at the Embassy is sponsored by Jefferson Pointe and TAG Art Company and starts at 3:30 p.m. with the cartoon Scooby-Doo meets Batman. Tickets are $3 general admission. This feature is 40 minutes in length and scheduled to end before the beginning of the Zombie parade.
After the parade, the Embassy will show the movie Beetlejuice at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 adults and $3 for children 12 and under. This movie is rated PG. Come early to take pictures and visit with the Beetlejuice family in the theater lobby.
The scary fun continues late into the night with an 11 p.m. showing of The Shining. Tickets are $8 adults. This movie is rated R. There will be a “Here’s Johnny” photo booth for free photos in the theater lobby prior to the movie. The photo booth will feature one of the doors from the former Indiana Hotel.
In addition, the Indiana Hotel lobby at the Embassy is the starting and stopping point for ARCH’s haunted bus and walking tours.
