IPFW Career Services unveils IPFW Career Fair Plus app
(August 28, 2015) — Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Career Services is proud to introduce the new IPFW Career Fair Plus app. This app is available on Google Play and the iTunes app store.
The Career Fair Plus app will be utilized for IPFW’s Mastodon Job and Internship Fair on September 22 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse.
“Using the Career Fair Plus app, students and alumni will be able to craft their career fair strategy by researching the 100+ companies, navigate the floor plan in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse, and prepare for the event with the career fair 101 resources,” said Ashley Calderon, director of IPFW Career Services.
Career Fair Plus is meant to empower students while providing them up-to-date information. Career Fairs can be stressful and time consuming, with last-minute announcements and companies added. This app enables the IPFW Career Services team to aid students in preparing for career fairs while reducing the stress of the entire career fair experience.
Career Fair Plus is currently utilized nationwide by such schools as Ohio State University, University of Michigan, Stanford University, and Auburn University, among other colleges.
