Fort Wayne Motorcycle Clubs donate school supplies to Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne members
(August 13, 2015) – Motorcycle enthusiasts joined forces again this year to provide school supplies to Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne members. Members of several Fort Wayne Motorcycle Clubs distributed school supplies to Club children on Friday, August 14th at the new Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne located in Timothy L. Johnson Academy.
Anthony Shelton, the organizer of the event, said that 5 Fort Wayne Motorcycle Clubs contributed funds and time to ensure school supplies for the Club members, as a way to give back to the community and support youth in high-need areas. They have sponsored the initiative for a number of years.
“We are truly blessed to have these individuals partner with us on behalf of our children,” commented Joe Jordan, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, “We commend their interest in the greater community, and in particular for taking the initiative to ensure that our children’s needs are being met.”
The Fort Wayne Motorcycle Clubs (MC) sponsoring the initiative are: The Legion Riders MC, Real Dawgs MC, RoadMasters 4 Life MC, Toros MC, and Real Recognize Real Social Club.
