News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 406 Violet Court
The FWFD arrived at 406 Violet Court and observed smoke coming from the attic area of the house. Fire crews searched the house and found a small fire in the attic near the rear of the house.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire and overhauled the area. The fire was under control in 10 mins.
Fire crews were assisted by TRAA, FWPD, NCE, AEP, and NIPSCO.
No one was home at the time of the fire and is still under investigation.
