News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 2914 Trentman Avenue
(June 18, 2015) – A neighbor called 911 to report black smoke coming from a kitchen window of a house at 2914 Trentman Avenue. FWFD units arrive 1 min. after dispatch and advanced in to extinguish the fire and be sure it was clear of occupants. A small kitchen fire was found and under control in 5 min.
The fire is still under investigation.
The FWFD was assisted by TRAA, AEP and NIPSCO.
There were no occupants inside at the time of the fire and no reported injuries.
