Bard Selected for GeoCorps America Program
(June 8, 2015) — Dr. Gary Bard, University of Saint Francis professor emeritus of Physics and Earth Science, has been selected to participate in the GeoCorps America program during the summer of 2015.
The program places geoscientists in parks throughout the United States to help the National Park Service with specific geoscience needs and to introduce youth and young professionals to potential National Park Service careers. Dr. Bard will be researching the impact of volcanism on climate change and the evolution of species.
