FWCS celebrates commencements

(June 3, 2015) – Fort Wayne Community Schools celebrates commencements Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, for the 1,800 members of the Class of 2015.

The members of the Class of 2015 leave their high schools with varied future plans. Some will pursue higher education at institutions such as Indiana University, Purdue University, University of Notre Dame, Wabash College, Trine University and The U.S. Naval Academy. They will study pre-med, chemical engineering, education, nursing, sports marketing and much more. Some graduates will enter the military or continue working on the technical training they need to start a career in trades such as carpentry or automotive mechanics. Still others will jump right into pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams, focusing on building their own businesses. But before embarking on their new adventures, they will come together one final time for their graduation ceremonies at the Memorial Coliseum.

Commencement ceremonies are held in the Memorial Coliseum at the following times:

  • North Side – Friday, June 12, 6 p.m.
  • South Side – Friday, June 12, 7:30 p.m.
  • Northrop – Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m.
  • Wayne – Saturday, June 13, noon
  • Snider – Saturday, June 13, 1:30 p.m.
