Two Vehicle Traffic Crash Leaves One Critical, One Serious
(April 30, 2015) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred at Carroll Road and Hand Road this morning. At approximately 7:24 a.m. officers began responding to the area. According to witnesses, an SUV was Northbound on Hand Road and failed to stop at the stop sign for Carroll Road. The SUV struck a passenger car that was Eastbound on Carroll Road. Both occupants of the passenger car were pinned in the vehicle. The passenger was flown to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The three occupants of the SUV were treated and released from the scene. All of the occupants in both vehicles were juveniles. The crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
