News release from the Fort Wayne Police Department:
Search Warrant Service, 800 block of Poplar
(April 24, 2015) – Just before noon on April 24th, 2015 Officers of Fort Wayne Police Department Emergency Services Team and Detectives of the Vice and Narcotics Division served a search warrant in the 800 block of Poplar. As a result of this investigation, four individuals were arrested at the scene.
Michael Cardwell – Adult male
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance (felony)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (misdemeanor)
Roland Williams – Adult male
- Contempt of Court Arrest Warrant
Melanie Hemming – Adult female
- Possession of Paraphernalia (misdemeanor)
Candy Girardot – Adult female
- Possession of Paraphernalia (misdemeanor)
Two pit bulls and one cat were removed by Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control. The residence was condemned by Neighborhood Code.
