Atlanta Hawks assign Mike Muscala to the Mad Ants
ATLANTA, GA (March 1, 2015) – The Atlanta Hawks have assigned forward/center Mike Muscala to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
In five contests with Fort Wayne this season (4-1 record), he is putting up 14.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks in 29.8 minutes (.509 FG%, .857 FT%).
Muscala has appeared in 20 games (one start) with the Hawks this season, averaging 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 8.4 minutes (.508 FG%, .917 FT%). In last night’s win at Miami, he compiled a career-high tying four blocked shots to go along with five points in 16 minutes.
