Embassy open Sunday for perspective event space renters

News release from the Embassy Theatre:

Embassy updates logo and begins to rent new areas

(February 20, 2015) – The Embassy Theatre unveiled a revised logo and is taking rentals for the new spaces currently under construction in the former Indiana Hotel.

“We reviewed our current Embassy logo with the Asher Agency. We discovered that the logo is recognizable and strong, so the changes were minor,” commented Embassy executive director Kelly Updike. “The new logo allows us to identify not only the Embassy Theatre but our new areas as well.”

The Embassy is now taking reservations for those new areas currently undergoing renovation. In addition to the theater lobby and former Indiana Hotel lobby, the Embassy will now offer several other areas for rent. There is the new Ballroom at the Embassy with the rooftop garden, the Mezzanine Lounge at the Embassy, the Board Room at the Embassy and rehearsal space and classrooms that will be opening at various times over the next 12 months. The ballroom and rooftop garden, which will be rented as one space, will open in March 2016.

A digital video has been produced by Weigand Construction and Moake Park, the construction firm and architectural company working on the project. This will allow potential renters to see how the new areas will look upon completion.

The Embassy will be open on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 5 p.m. for those interested in renting space. The digital video will be presented and free tours of current spaces will be offered. Every bride will also receive a free gift bag, while supplies last. “We have a waiting list already,” said Updike. ” I encourage all who are interested to contact our special events director soon for available dates. ”

The Embassy offers an all-inclusive price package or a la carte pricing. Contact Kyle Snare, special events director, at 260.424.6287 ext. 233 for more information.
