Chef Steven Meese Visits Holland Elementary
(February 2, 2015) – Chef Steven Meese, host of A Chef’s Journey, a travel cooking show on PBS, will visit Holland Elementary School Friday, Feb. 6, for an educational cooking demonstration.
Meese is an ambassador chef with Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry, a campaign to end child hunger in America by ensuring all children get healthy food to eat every day. While at Holland, Meese will talk about healthy eating and involve students in a cooking demonstration.
Meese’s show, which airs on PBS at 2 p.m. on Saturdays, takes viewers into the culinary world through a chef’s eye. Meese travels across the country visiting America’s finest restaurants, interviewing and cooking with the finest James Beard Chef’s and showcasing each city. Meese is also working on a cookbook titled “Modern Soul.”
