University Police investigate assault and robbery
(January 23, 2015) — University Police are investigating an assault and robbery that took place on Thursday, January 22, in the Student Housing parking lot on the Waterfield Campus.
Around 11:15pm on Thursday, a male student met a female acquaintance in a parking lot at Student Housing. After getting into the female’s car, another male entered the car and displayed a handgun. The student was assaulted, robbed of his cell phone, and forced out of the vehicle. The two suspects fled in the female’s car, which was described as a small purple 4-door vehicle.
