Classic car show to benefit Turnstone
(October 10, 2014) – The Fran and Bob Sebeika Memorial Classic Car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Georgetown Subway parking lot, 6501 State Blvd, Fort Wayne on Saturday, October 11th.
Iconic cars, from ‘57 Chevys and ’65 Mustangs to sleek Corvettes, will be on display, and music and prizes will be part of the fun.
The event is sponsored by Georgetown Subway in partnership with the Fort Wayne Corvette Club. All regular footlong sandwiches will be priced at $6. Turnstone, an organization that benefits children & adults with disabilities, will receive $1 from every sandwich sold, as well as other proceeds from the show.
Georgetown Subway owner Jeff Sebeika is proud to host the event in honor of his late parents, who were longtime members of the Fort Wayne Corvette Club. “The Corvette Club was a big part of their lives, so I’m pleased to join with the club to present an event that the whole family can enjoy, and which will also benefit a great organization, Turnstone,” Sebeika said.
“Turnstone is proud to be the recipient of funds from this show. Corvettes are near and dear to Turnstone. We just raffled off our 11th Corvette to help fund our programs,” said Nancy Louraine.
