USF School of Creative Arts hosting workshops for regional high school students

(August 29, 2014) — The School of Creative Arts at the University of Saint Francis (USF) will host free workshops for regional high school art, music and communication students and teachers in the Rolland Center for Art and Visual Communication off of Leesburg Road on Friday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Students will participate in one of 11 workshops with a full-time USF faculty member in the subjects of computer animation, drawing, art history, music technology, social media and public relations, theatre, illustration, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design and photography. Workshops for high school teachers will be in visual art and music technology. Workshops are followed by a portfolio review for interested individuals.
