Share your extra garden vegetables at Day of Sharing
(September 18, 2014) – If your garden has been booming this summer, consider donating your extra vegetables. There are many individuals and families in the community who would be grateful for your extra, fresh produce. By doing this you will help bolster the health of our community, bring awareness to local, healthy food options and emphasize the importance of sharing resources.
Friday, September 19 has been designated as a “Day of Sharing.” These locations will accept your excess produce and get it quickly to people in need.
