USF Jesters accepting registrations for 2014-2015
(August 20, 2014) — The Jesters of the University of Saint Francis is accepting registrations for 2014-2015 from people ages 6 and older with developmental disabilities.
The program begins Saturday, Sept. 6 and will meet each Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon in the dance studio at the USF North Campus, 2702 Spring St., across from the main campus. Morning activities will include dance/movement, theatre, storytelling, puppetry, percussion and music (instrumental and voice). A visual arts program limited to 25 people will be held from noon-2 p.m. in the Rolland Center. Participants can attend the morning session only or the morning and afternoon sessions at a cost of $60 for mornings and an additional $20 for afternoons. Scholarships are available.
Jesters will meet Saturdays (except Nov. 29 due to Thanksgiving) from Sept. 6-Dec. 13. The program will not meet Dec. 20 and 27 and Jan. 3 and 10 due to holiday break. It will resume Jan. 17 and continue meeting Saturdays from 10 a.m-2 p.m. through March 7. The spring 2015 performance will be Saturday, March 6 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 7 at 3 p.m. in the North Campus auditorium.
