Jerk Tournament to benefit Turnstone
(July 16, 2014) – The Jerk League has chosen Turnstone as the charity to receive the proceeds of its 5th Annual Charity Golf Outing in memory of Fort Wayne Komets hall of famer and Jerk League founding father, Reggie Primeau. The Jerk Invitational is being held on August 2nd at Colonial Oaks Golf Course — tee time is 8 am sharp. Last Year, the League donated more than $5,000 to Turnstone!
The cost for the scramble is $260.00 per team of 4 ($65 per person). The cost includes 18 holes of golf food and drinks and there will be a silent auction following the outing.

About the JERK League
Six years ago, four men formed a once-a-week golf group. Since all groups need a name, the men each took the first letter of their first name and came up with “JRRC”. The original JRRC’s (James Redmond, Reggie Primeau, Ryan Potts and Craig Berry) expanded in the following year to include twelve new members and changed their name to the “JERK League.” The JERKs share a love of golf and their community and they now annually host a charity golf tournament. To date, they have raised more than $13,000 and collected countless wish list items for local charities.About Turnstone
