News release from the Allen Superior Court:
John D. McGauley appointed to Court Executive position by the Allen Superior Court
(July 10, 2014) – Chief Judge Wendy Davis, on behalf of the Board of Judges of the Allen Superior Court, has announced that John D. McGauley has been appointed to the position Court Executive, the chief administrative officer of the court, responsible for the budget, finance, grants, human resources, caseload allocation and other administrative duties.
Mr. McGauley currently serves in elected office as the Allen County Recorder, and he has informed Republican Party Chairman Steve Shine that he is stepping down from that position to begin his duties as Court Executive in August.
John McGauley will replace Jerry Noble, who is retiring in August after serving in the position for twenty-eight years, and having served the Court for forty-three years altogether.
Judge Davis said, “John McGauley brings a wealth of experience in serving the citizens of Allen County. He has shown strong leadership and innovative ideas as County Recorder, many of which have resulted in demonstrable savings to the public. We know that he will hit the ground running as he begins his duties with the Court, and we look forward to having John on the leadership team.”
