Thunderstorms, some severe on the way
(June 30, 2014) – A line of severe thunderstorms is moving across eastern Illinois (as of 8:20 pm EDT). These thunderstorms are expected to impact the western portions of area between 9 and 10 PM EDT and will move east across the rest of the area later tonight. There is the potential for widespread damaging winds up to 80 mph, along with an isolated tornado. The highest threat for severe weather will generally west of State Road 13.
