Shooting Investigation

Date/Time of Incident: 06-28-2014 1:43 PM

Location of Incident: 3200 S Anthony Blvd

Victims: Male Adult (Deceased) and Male Adult in Fair Condition

On Saturday June 28, 2014 at approximately 1:43 PM, the FWPD responded to a shooting investigation located at a residence in the 3200 block of South Anthony Blvd. While officers were responding to the scene of the shooting, additional officers were dispatched to a report of a man lying in the street near the intersection of Robinwood and Oxford. As officers arrived at the shooting investigation on Anthony, they located a male adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived on the scene and provided medical attention to the victim before transporting him to a local hospital in fair condition.

As officers arrived near the intersection of Robinwood and Oxford, they located a male adult lying in the street unresponsive. Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced the male to be deceased. It appears that the male possibly may have suffered from an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators on both scenes are attempting to speak with possible witnesses who may have information regarding either of the incidents. It is unclear if these two incidents may be related to each other. There are no suspects at this time and no arrests have been made. The name of the deceased will be released at a later time by the Allen County Coroners Office. The name of the other male victim will be released at a later time. Anyone who may have information regarding either of these incidents is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department.

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Coroners Office, and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
