Shower and thunderstorm chances continue tonight
(June 17, 2014) – A lingering frontal boundary across the area could spark some showers and thunderstorms this evening, mainly along and north of U.S. 24. A slightly better chance for showers and thunderstorms will exist late tonight into the overnight hours, as showers and thunderstorms that are expected to develop across eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin could track southeast into the area overnight. Some of these storms this evening into the overnight could be strong to severe. Lows will only drop into the low 70s.
