Parkview hosts asthma day camp for kids
(June 10, 2014) – Parkview Community Asthma Program will be hosting an asthma day camp on Wednesday, July 16, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. for children 9 to 11 years old.
The event is sponsored by Parkview Hospital Randallia. Campers will learn about asthma and its treatment including:
- How asthma affects the lungs
- The early warning signs of an asthma episode
- The importance of eating healthy and exercising
- How to avoid triggers
- How to handle an asthma episode
The event is free and will be held at the Parkview Center for Healthy Living, Southeast, 3350 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Space is limited so register today by filling out a registration form and mailing it to:
