Dry Monday, wet midweek

(June 9, 2014) – The work week will begin with pleasant conditions across the area. Conditions will be dry on Monday under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Wetter conditions are expected over the middle part of the work week.

Rain shower chances will move north into the area Monday morning, with showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms across much of the area Monday afternoon. Rain showers with thunderstorm chances will continue through the day on Wednesday, before rain chances decrease across the area Wednesday night. A lingering slight chance of rain showers is possible Thursday and Thursday night, but conditions look to be dry again by the end of the week. Highs will generally be in the 70s through most of the work week, with lows in the 50s to lower 60s.
