Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Warm today ahead of weak cold front

(June 7, 2014) – Mostly sunny skies will prevail across the area as temperatures will warm into the low to middle 80s. A weak cold front will cross the region later tonight and bring with it a chance for showers. The chances for rain will end from west to east early Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Cooler and drier air will work its way across the area and clouds will diminish through the day. Afternoon highs on Sunday will range from the middle 60s near Lake Michigan to the middle 70s elsewhere.
