Showers and thunderstorms moving into area

(June 4, 2014) – A low pressure system will track into central Indiana today, bringing a large area of showers and thunderstorms to the area this morning into the afternoon hours. The threat of severe weather looks to remain south of the area, along and south of Interstate 70. Heavy rainfall is possible though, especially across portions of northern Indiana. Highs will range from the upper 60s to mid 70s. Dry weather is expected tonight into the start of the weekend.
