Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Memorial Day planning forecast
(May 26, 2014) – Any parades this morning should experience dry conditions with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 70s by noon. Afternoon parades or other outdoor activities, however, will see a chance for a shower or thunderstorm to interrupt things just about anywhere, with highs topping out in the mid 80s. It will not be a washout by any means, but anyone unfortunate enough to be under one of the storms will get drenched due to both slow movement and abundant moisture. The chance for storms will continue into tonight. Severe weather is not expected with any storms through tonight.
