Turnstone wins leadership award at 2014 National Wheelchair Basketball Championships

Louisville, KY (April 9, 2014) – Turnstone was awarded the 2014 Courage Kenny Award of Merit for Outstanding Leadership in recognition of an organization’s vision, leadership and service to the NWBA and development of Junior Division Wheelchair Basketball.

Turnstone’s wheelchair basketball program began in 1993. Their junior varsity team has qualified annually for the national competition since 2002, traveling all over the country for this event.
