TinCaps On The Field
- Fernando Perez is the reigning Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week. The infielder hit .458 in six games last week with one home run and three doubles. Perez, who carried a 10-game hitting streak into the week, leads the TinCaps with 13 runs batted in this season.
- Dane Phillips sports the best batting average in the Midwest League at .383. Fort Wayne’s catcher has five doubles, two triples, a home run, and eight RBI.
- In their first 18 games of the season, the TinCaps have averaged 5.6 runs per game – 2nd most in the Midwest League.
