Winter storm Tuesday night – Wednesday
(March 10, 2014) – A winter storm watch is in effect from midnight Tuesday night through 5 pm Wednesday. Precipitation will start Tuesday night as rain before quickly changing to heavy snow by the early morning hours and continuing through Wednesday morning. Total snowfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches expected within the watch area. Strong 20-30 mph winds will cause significant blowing and drifting issues, especially during the day on Wednesday.
