Plowing Update, 1/6/2014 @ 7:43 AM
(January 6, 2014) – Plowing efforts have moved to residential streets this morning.
If possible, residents should not use street parking to maximize clearing efforts in their neighborhood.
The State of Emergency for Allen County continues and travel is restricted to emergency workers only.
Street Department crews have worked around the clock to clear main streets and keep them passable and moved into the neighborhood streets around 7:00 AM.
This morning, residents may notice some trucks other than Street Department trucks in their neighborhoods. City Utilities, Traffic Operations, the Parks Department and several contracted private companies have been brought in to assist with the snow clearing operations.
