The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir Presents Annual “Rejoice!” Concert
We encourage the community to celebrate the holiday season with the voices of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir!
(December 4, 2013) – The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is proud to announce their upcoming holiday concert titled “Rejoice!” on Friday, December 6 at 7:30pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. The Apprentice Choir, Lyric Choir, Youth Chorale and Chamber Singers are performing for this evening of holiday music. The audience will participate in the music-making joining in on familiar holiday carols. The choirs will sing many familiar and new holiday tunes, including “Sleigh Ride” and “Carol of the Cuckoo.”
Tickets are available by calling the Larson Box Office at IPFW at 260.481.6555 or www.ipfw.edu/tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets are $8 for Adults, $5 for Students and Seniors.
About the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir
The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir’s mission is to provide a choral program exemplifying artistic and educational excellence for children from diverse backgrounds. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir (FWCC) endeavors to contribute to the community’s cultural environment by providing opportunities to experience professionally trained young voices. Under the artistic direction of Jonathan Busarow, the FWCC has eight ensembles and nearly 300 members annually. The ensembles collaborate with many of the finest arts programs in the region, give five season concerts annually, and strive to be a part of the community by singing at many civic events. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is a company-in-residence at IPFW Department of Music.
