YLNI Accepting 2014 Barr Street Market Vendor Applications
(November 7, 2013) – Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) is now accepting vendor applications for its 2014 Barr Street Market.
Bringing life to downtown Fort Wayne every weekend, the Barr Street Market is a signature initiative from YLNI, with more than 14,000 visitors in the 2013 season. 2014 is shaping up to be an even bigger season as YLNI continues making great strides in its tenth year.
“The Barr Street Market is one of our most beloved events,” said Melissa Beber, Vice President of Community Impact for YLNI. “As we continue to push for greater attachment and engagement with the community, the continued success of the Barr Street Market is evidence that the efforts of our market vendors and volunteers have dramatically improved the quality of life in northeast Indiana.”
Barr Street Market features a wide array of vendors. Everything from locally-grown produce, handmade baked goods and craft ice cream, to ceramics, artisan soaps and candles has been sold. YLNI also books local musicians to provide entertainment for market patrons. The market is hosted in the footprint of the historic Fort Wayne Barr Street Market, at the corner of Wayne and Barr Streets. The market will run from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturdays, May 17 through September 27, 2014.
