Perry Hill students set to honor the Military on Veterans Day
(November 5, 2013) – Perry Hill Elementary will hold a special program to honor Veterans on November 11, at 12:45 PM.
The program will include the presentation of the flag by the Cub Scouts, as well as music provided by the Fort Wayne Police Department Pipe and Drum Brigade. Each grade level has prepared a gift in the form of a presentation for the Veterans in attendance, and for Veterans across the country. The presentations will follow the life skills that the students learn about in school such as effort, courage, caring, cooperation, responsibility and respect. The presentations will range from songs, poems, and essays that will serve as tribute to those who have served.
Veteran family members of students will be in attendance for the program.
