…FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM EDT TUESDAY…

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA TODAY…USHERING IN FIRST IN A SERIES OF COLD NIGHTS. GENERALLY CLEAR SKIES AND DIMINISHING WINDS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE WATCH AREA BY LATE EVENING. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DROP TO 29 TO 32 DEGREES EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THIS WILL ALLOW THE POTENTIAL FOR A WIDESPREAD FROST. SOME UNCERTAINTY EXISTS WITH RESPECT TO WINDS OVERNIGHT AND ITS IMPACT ON MINIMUM TEMPERATURES. THOSE WITH AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS SHOULD MONITOR FOR LATER UPDATES.
