Visit Fort Wayne to Host National 2013 DMAI Visitor Services Shirtsleeves Conference
(September 27, 2013) – Attracting visitors and welcoming them Fort Wayne is what Visit Fort Wayne does best every day. Now, it’s time for the organization to show off its abundance of resources, outstanding staff and beautiful Visitors Center to its respective peers.
On September 29?30, Visit Fort Wayne will host the 2013 Destination Marketing International Association (DMAI) Visitor Service Shirtsleeves Conference at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fort Wayne.
For two days, Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) representatives and attendees from across the United States and Canada will take in the city of Fort Wayne and enjoy an array of workshops. DMO professionals from Maryland, Iowa, Mississippi and Alaska will lead educational workshops, sharing new techniques, trends and influential methods related to visitor services. The group will also enjoy a fine dining experience at Club Soda.
An estimated 100 DMO professionals will attend the conference, including DMAI CEO Michael Gehrisch and Providence CVB CEO & DMAI President Martha Sheridan, as well as, executives from several participating DMOs.
DMAI is the world’s largest marketing resource for DMOs and Visitor Bureaus, as it represents more than 600 destinations in 15 countries, including Visit Fort Wayne.
