Indiana Wine Experience call-out for artists
(September 23, 2013) – The Fall Home Design Expo is looking for a variety of artists to participate in the Indiana Wine Experience from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at Fort Wayne’s Memorial Coliseum.
Artists who specialize in crafts like wood, basketry, ceramics, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metalwork, mixed media, paper, wearable and decorative fiber art, drawings, photography, oil and acrylic paintings, sculptures and beadmaking are all welcome.
The evening will feature Hoosier-based wineries, chocolate, cheese provided by the American Dairy Association of Indiana, and even a grape stomping contest hosted by Daniel’s Vineyard, based out of McCordsville, Ind.
A silent auction will donate all proceeds to the Fort Wayne Children’s Foundation to assist in providing gifts for a family in need during the coming holiday season.
The J Taylors, a husband and wife duo, will provide entertainment covering rock and country favorites from the 1950s to today, while Chef Michael Barna from the Taste of Home Cooking School, gives away an exquisite meal paired with wine to one lucky couple during the event.
