The Embassy Theatre is pleased to announce “Eddie Griffin and Friends Labor Day Weekend Comedy Jam” featuring comedian Eddie Griffin and friends Bruh Man and G-Thang! (eddiegriffin.com)
Eddie Griffin is widely known for his award winning Comedy Stand-up Special Dysfunktional Family “2003” which he starred, wrote, Executive Produced and performed on the film’s soundtrack with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Tupac.
Eddie’s most recent comedy special, “You Can Tell ‘Em I Said It” premiered on Comedy Central on February 19, 2011. In June 2012, Eddie took a dramatic turn in David E. Talbert’s play A Fool And His Money in which he received rave reviews as the hero. Most recently Eddie was the voice of Richard Pryor in the animated series Black Dynamite on Adult Swim and starred in the R-rated comedy feature Mucho Dinero set to be released in 2013.
Comedy Central honored him as the Top 100 Greatest Stand-ups of all time. Eddie has appeared in over 50 films and numerous television shows. In addition to his Comedic talent, Griffin is also a gifted Actor, Dancer, Choreographer and Singer.
