IPFW 4th of July Fireworks

(June 24, 2013) – One of Fort Wayne’s most exciting traditions is the annual July 4th fireworks display, hosted by Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW).

The 2013 4th of July fireworks display will begin at 10:15 p.m. on the campus of IPFW. Parking Garage 2 will again be the setting off point for fireworks, as in previous years.

New for this year, food vendors will be available in Lot 12 on the north campus, starting at 4 p.m.

All guests attending the fireworks display are strongly encouraged to not bring any personal fireworks on campus.

“We are looking forward to another great year of 4th of July fireworks. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and folding chairs for their comfort as they enjoy the spectacular show in the night sky,” said Lisa Zerkle, special events manager at IPFW.

There is no cost to attend and the fireworks are open to the public, with parking available at no cost on north campus.
