TinCaps Announce Roster Move: May 4th
(May 4, 2013) Peoria, IL – The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster move, effective Saturday, May 4th:
Infielder Felix Cabrera transferred from Double-A San Antonio to Fort Wayne. Cabrera, 23, was on Fort Wayne’s 2013 opening day roster, and played in one game, going 1-for-5 on April 6th at Great Lakes. With San Antonio this season, he was 0-for-3, appearing in two games.
Last season in 18 games with the TinCaps, Cabrera hit .209 with one home run and four runs batted in.
The addition of Cabrera puts Fort Wayne at the Midwest League roster limit of 25 players.
