Police Action Shooting
Date/Time of Incident: April 27, 2013 / 3:49 PM
Location of Incident: 4300 Spatz Avenue
(April 29, 2013) – The City of Fort Wayne Police department is releasing the names of the officers involved in the police action shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the 4300 block of Spatz Avenue:
Involved Officer: Officer Cameron A. Norris; commission date of August 27, 2010.
Involved Officer: Officer John D. Drummer; commission date of October 12, 1995.
This incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Indiana State Police. There is nothing further at this time.
