Parkview babies wear red

(February 1, 2013) – Highlighting the need to help increase awareness of the No.1 killer of women, the youngest patients at Parkview are wearing red today. Thanks to volunteer efforts, Parkview babies in Allen County were given red caps to wear as part of National Wear Red Day®.

Recently, officials with the American Heart Association donated approximately 300 red caps to Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Hospital Randallia. These caps were made possible thanks to several knitting and crochet groups in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. They will be distributed throughout the month of February in recognition of Heart Health Month.
