Stutzman Comments on President’s Nomination of Jack Lew

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, released the following statement on President Obama’s nomination of Jack Lew to be Treasury Secretary:
“New titles won’t break the cycle of borrowing, tax hikes, and bailouts,” said Stutzman. “Throughout his tenure, Mr. Lew has embraced this Administration’s failed economic policies. While I want to congratulate Mr. Lew on his nomination, I also invite him to work with House Republicans on solutions that restore confidence and encourage economic growth.”
