News release from the Allen County Public Information Office:
Allen County Highway Condition Update: 4 p.m.
The Allen County Highway Department late this afternoon reported that most roads in the unincorporated portions of the county are passable following today’s blast of snow and high winds. No travel restrictions are in effect at this time. However, motorists who will be driving in isolated areas overnight are being encouraged to use extra caution as gusty winds could change conditions along those highways.
County trucks and plows have been on the roads since early morning and will remain out until around 7:00 tonight. Crews will return to work at around 4:00 tomorrow morning.
