Walgreen’s Pharmacy Robbery Investigation
Department Seeks to Identify Suspect

Loss: Fentanyl and Methadone
On Thursday, October 4, 2012 at approximately 1:08 am the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Walgreen’s located at 6201 Stellhorn Road reference a report of a robbery. It was reported that a male subject approached the pharmacy counter where he presented a note demanding Methadone and Fentanyl. The suspect then fled the store on foot. Though the threat of harm was made, a weapon was not displayed and there were no injuries reported.
Investigators have obtained still images and video footage from store surveillance and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone knowing the identity or whereabouts of the suspect in the images or video is asked to contact the City of Fort Wayne Police Department at (260) 427-1222 or CrimeStoppers at (260) 436-STOP (7867). This incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
