Memorial Pool Closing August 5
(July 31, 2012) — City pools will begin the process of closing over the next two weeks as staff head back to school. Due to this loss of seasonal staff, we will no longer have the number of certified lifeguards needed to safely operate the pools.
Memorial Park Pool will close for the season at 5 pm August 5. Northside Pool will close August 12th at 5 pm and McMillen Pool will close August 12th at 7 pm.
Memorial Pool season tickets will be honored at McMillen and Northside Pools through August 12th, 2012.
The following splash pads will remain open, 9 am – 9 pm, until further notice:

McCormick Park, 2300 Raymond & Holly
Memorial Park, 2301 Maumee & Glasgow
Robert E. Meyers Park (When Parkview Field doesn’t have a scheduled event.), Inside North Gate of Parkview Field on Jefferson Blvd.
Shoaff Park, 6401 St. Joe Rd.
Kreager Park (Taylor’s Dream), 7225 North River Road
Waynedale Park, 2900 Koons & Elzey
