Call for Artie Award nominations and Bravo Celebration announcement
Arts United will honor Northeast Indiana’s arts leaders, educators, and advocates at the Bravo Celebration on November 7, 2012.
(July 30, 2012) – Arts United is pleased to offer the 2012 Artie Awards to celebrate those in our region who are making significant contributions for arts and culture. The Artie Awards are presented annually and highlight arts leaders in the following 12 Northeast Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Miami, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley.
2012 Award Categories include:
Outstanding Artist of the Year
Outstanding Arts Educator (Margaret Ann Keegan Award)
Outstanding Arts Volunteer of the Year
Outstanding Corporate Arts Supporter
Outstanding Arts Collaboration
Outstanding Arts Advocate
Lifetime Achievement
Arts United will present the Artie Awards at the Bravo Celebration on November 7, 2012 at 5:30pm at the Arts United Center. Award nominees and their nominators will receive a special invitation to the event.
All nominations must be submitted using Arts United’s nomination form, which is available at the Arts United office at the Auer Center for Arts & Culture on 300 East Main Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, or online at www.artsunited.org/what-we-do/artie-awards/. All nominations must be submitted by September 14, 2012.
