The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir Presents Choralfest Concert
The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is proud to present the annual Choralfest Concert August 10, 2012. The Choralfest concert is the finale event of Choralfest Camp, a week long program for members of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir.
The Choralfest Concert will take place at Foellinger Outdoor Theater on Friday, August 10, at 7 p.m. This concert will kick off the organization’s 40th season, and is free and open to the community to attend. Concert goers should anticipate a lively performance from this year’s Children’s Choir members, spanning ages 8-18 from seven ensembles. Musical selections will include some familiar favorites as well as new tunes audiences will love. The organization will feature an Alumni Choir.

The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is entering its 40th season in the fall of 2012. For nearly 40 years, the organization has focused on its mission of providing a choral program exemplifying artistic and educational excellence for children from diverse backgrounds. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir endeavors to contribute to the community’s cultural environment by providing opportunities to experience professionally trained young voices. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir has seven ensembles and nearly 300 members annually. The ensembles collaborate with many of the finest arts programs in the region, as well as give five season concerts.
