House fire at 1825 Alliger Street
The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire at 1825 Alliger Street. Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and fire involvement on both the first and second floor of the two story home. Crews made entry but were forced to evacuate due the amount of fire involvement. The fire was then fought defensively. Crews were able to contain the fire to the address without further extension to neighboring homes. No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
