News release from the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority:

“Fort Wayne Market Express” Opens in FWA Terminal

Passengers at Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) now have a quick option for snacks, gifts, and other travel items before boarding their flight. First Class Concessions, the airport’s concessionaire, has expanded its services to include a retail kiosk near Gates 5-8 on the second level of the terminal.

“We are very excited to be enhancing our facilities once again for passengers,” said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports. “The new restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop have been very well received by travelers, and we hope they enjoy this new addition just as much.”

“Fort Wayne Market Express” offers magazines, newspapers, books, souvenirs, sundries, and fresh food and beverages to-go.

“First Class Concessions is proud to continue our successful partnership with FWA,” said Tasneem Vakharia, President of First Class Concessions. “We are extremely excited to expand our retail services airside. The kiosk showcases popular hometown Vera Bradley and DeBrand Chocolatier favorites that will be sure to connect travelers with a taste of Fort Wayne.”

The airport welcomed Samuel Adams Brewhouse, Seattle’s Best Coffee, and the Fort Wayne Marketplace in June 2011. The facilities feature a full menu, bar, and spacious gift shop with additional collections from Vera Bradley and DeBrand.
